Use this glossary to look up EcoWestern terminology used across the documentation. Terms are grouped by product area.EcoWestern EcoSystem
- EcoWestern: The company behind the EcoWestern EcoSystem.
- EcoWestern EcoSystem: The connected family of EcoWestern products — Economic ID, Azura, Enfusion, and eChat — that work together with a single account.
- Economic ID: Your EcoWestern identity. One sign-in that works across all EcoWestern products and connected apps. Use this exact name — never “Eco ID” or “EcoVerify”.
- Economic Organization: An organization account in Economic ID that manages members, invitations, and access for a team, business, or community.
Economic ID
- Account: Your personal Economic ID profile, including your sign-in details and security settings.
- Connected app: A non-EcoWestern product or service that you can sign in to using your Economic ID.
- Single sign-on (SSO): Signing in once with your Economic ID to access multiple products without re-entering your password.
- Recovery: The self-service process for regaining access to your account if you lose your sign-in details. Try recovery first; if it fails, contact support.
Azura
- Azura: EcoWestern’s AI assistant for conversation, research, and creating work.
- Model: The specific AI engine that powers an Azura conversation. You can choose between models depending on your task.
- Omnibox: The single input field where you type prompts, search, and start tasks in Azura.
- Artifact: A piece of content (like code, a document, or a diagram) that Azura creates alongside the chat so you can view, edit, and reuse it separately.
- Memory: What Azura remembers about you across conversations so responses stay relevant.
- Custom instructions: Standing directions you give Azura that apply to every conversation.
- Skills: Predefined capabilities you can enable so Azura can perform specific tasks.
- Usage limits: Caps on how much you can use Azura within a period of time.
Enfusion
- Enfusion: EcoWestern’s workspace for documents, notes, decks, and canvases.
- Workspace: Your Enfusion home base where all of your files live.
- Envisiondocs: The document editor inside Enfusion.
- Envisionjot: The note-taking tool inside Enfusion.
- Envisiondeck: The presentation tool inside Enfusion.
- Canvas: A freeform surface inside Enfusion documents where you can sketch, arrange, and connect ideas inline.
- Template: A prebuilt starting point for a document, deck, or note.
- Shared link: A URL that lets other people view or edit your Enfusion file, depending on the permissions you set.
eChat
- eChat: EcoWestern’s privacy-focused messaging and calling platform. It runs as a Progressive Web App on any device with a browser.
- Progressive Web App (PWA): An app you install directly from your browser without an app store.
- Direct message (DM): A private one-on-one conversation in eChat.
- Group chat: A conversation with multiple people. Group admins can add or remove members.
- Channel: A broadcast space in eChat for sending messages to a large audience, such as a community or announcement feed.
- Reaction: An emoji response (❤️ 👍 👎 😂 😮 😢) attached to a message.
- Read receipt: A confirmation that shows when someone has seen your message.
- Voice note: A recorded audio message you can send in a chat.
- WebRTC: The technology behind eChat calls, enabling direct audio and video connections between people.
