This page explains what Azura stores and how your data is protected.

Your conversations are private to your account

Access is enforced at the database level — only you can view your conversations, messages, artifacts, and files.

What Azura stores

  • Your conversations and messages
  • Generated artifacts, including their version history
  • Files Azura works with in a conversation’s private file workspace
  • Your uploaded images and document text
  • Usage counts
  • Reasoning traces and tool activity — including URLs Azura read and Python code it ran — stored alongside messages. This is visible to you in the interface and private to your account.

Memory

If Long-term Memory is on, Azura saves short facts about you — preferences, projects, context — so future conversations are more personalized. You are in control:
  • View, search, and delete everything in Settings → Memory with “Purge All”. See Memory.
  • Clear it from chat with the /forget command.
  • Turn the toggle off to stop new memories.

What stays in your browser

Custom instructions and custom skills are stored in your browser only, not on the server. They will not follow you to another device or browser.

Deletion

Deleting a conversation removes it from your view everywhere — the deletion syncs immediately. Deletion is permanent from your perspective; there is no way to retrieve a deleted conversation. Signing out clears locally stored settings from the browser.

Model providers

Azura models run through EcoWestern’s service. Some models are provided by third-party AI companies. Check the model selector for current provider branding — see Choosing a model.

Account security

Account details, passwords, and recovery are handled by Economic ID at id.ecowestern.net. Never share your password, authentication codes, backup codes, or session tokens with anyone, including support staff.
