Creating Groups
Group chats let you have a shared conversation with multiple people at once. Whether it’s a friend group, a project team, or a family chat, groups are the perfect way to keep everyone on the same page. What is a group?
A group is a multi-participant conversation where every member can send and receive messages. Groups have:- A group name (you can change it later)
- An optional group photo or avatar
- Member roles: Owner, Admin, and Member
- The ability to add or remove members over time

When you create a group, you are automatically the Owner with full admin privileges. All other members are added as Members by default. You can promote members to Admin later. After creating a group
Once the group is created:- It appears in your Chat list.
- All members receive a notification that they’ve been added.
- You can immediately start messaging.
Groups vs. Channels
If you want to broadcast messages to a large audience without everyone replying, consider creating a Channel instead. See Channels.
